Overview
ChannelAds was launched in November 2011, with the aim of providing a local marketplace for Channel residents, which utilises modern internet selling practices, whilst maintaining community spirit.
This site offers residents of all the Channel Islands, the advanced features to search within their own locality, and browse items offered for sale.
It charges small fees for listing adverts, aimed at providing a Fair Priced service. If supported, this will facilitate continued development and maintainance, for an improved facility.
ChannelAds has declined to charge final listing fees, making the service it offers simple and hassle free.
Exchange of goods and payment, is left upon the goodwill between the buyer and the seller. This forms a contract.
ChannelAds is not liable for any desputes of sale, however it may choose to terminate auctions or memberships, should continued abuse or dis-satisfaction be reported.
Conceived and constructed by a local businessman, ChannelAds exists to provide a local service, and can be tailored upon demand. Feedback is welcomed via the contact page.

The site also supports local Charities, by collecting a voluntary percentage of sales donated by the item seller. Updates will be posted on the site, of amounts and frequency of donation.
